We are a family owned & operated Specialty Food Distributor serving greater Los Angeles for over 30 years. We are looking to hire a qualified candidate for our shipping team & to help in our Alhambra warehouse.

We provide high-end ingredients to discerning food establishments in Los Angeles and around the country. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellent customer service and our shipping team plays a very large role in that.
This is both a physically and mentally challenging position – all applicants must be able to:
* Read & understand Pick Tickets, bills of lading, product labels, etc. to ensure the correct items are being picked up and/or delivered
* Safely & repeatedly lift & handle items weighing 50lbs or more
* Identify and pick, prepare, and package hundreds of products we work from around the globe
* Prepare and safely pack items to be shipped
* Use various shipping software to process orders
* Effectively communicate with team members
* Help their teammates and work in different warehouse departments as is needed
* Work efficiently, accurately and effectively
Job Qualifications:
* Minimum 1 years of Shipping & Warehouse experience
* Good verbal & written communication skills
* Basic Computer Skills: Experience with shipping software & QuickBooks is a plus
* Positive attitude, work determination, and willingness to work as a team
Compensation Details & Benefits:
Full-Time Position (40 hours p/week)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm plus OT
Located in Alhambra
Wage: $18-19/hr depending on experience
