Job DescriptionNow Hiring: Cleanroom Technicians / Medical Device Assemblers

Join a growing medical device manufacturing team where precision, quality, and innovation come together. We are seeking detail-oriented Cleanroom Technicians and Medical Assemblers to support the production of life-changing medical devices in a highly regulated cleanroom environment.

Position Overview

As a Cleanroom Technician, you will perform precision assembly, inspection, and manufacturing of medical device components while following strict quality standards and cleanroom procedures. This role requires strong attention to detail, experience with measuring tools, and the ability to work with small, intricate parts under microscopes and specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble medical device components by following detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and manufacturing procedures.
• Perform precision assembly and processing of parts throughout various stages of production.
• Conduct visual and microscope inspections to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Complete production documentation, travelers, labels, and quality records accurately.
• Maintain compliance with cleanroom standards and contamination control procedures.
• Operate manufacturing equipment safely while adhering to established SOPs.
• Support quality assurance initiatives and report non-conforming materials or processes.
• Assist with both production manufacturing and research & development projects as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Previous medical device manufacturing experience required.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment preferred.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring equipment.
• Comfortable working with microscopes and small components.
• Strong documentation and data entry skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and perform seated, repetitive work for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical device assembly and inspection experience.
• Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and contamination control.
• Experience with micro-precision manufacturing processes.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality standards.

• Saturday & Sunday
• 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Weekend Evening Shift

• Saturday & Sunday
• 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Weekend Overnight Shift

• Saturday & Sunday
• 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
