About the Role:
Next Generation Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver to provide exceptional hospice and palliative care support in Trabuco Canyon, CA. Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance for hospice and palliative care patients
- Monitor and document patient health status, comfort levels, and changes in condition
- Administer comfort-focused care in alignment with individualized hospice care plans
- Offer emotional support and compassionate companionship to patients and their families
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Communicate effectively with hospice nurses, social workers, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Ensure a safe, dignified, and comfortable environment for patients at end of life
Requirements:
- Prior experience in hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life caregiving strongly preferred
- HCA - Home Care Identification Number
- TB Test- Fingerprint- Physical Examination-
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification a plus
- Strong understanding of comfort care, pain management support, and patient dignity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families
- Ability to handle emotionally sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion
- Reliable transportation and ability to work in Trabuco Canyon, CA
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
