Location: Beverly Hills, CA (5 days onsite)

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a high-growth, digitally native consumer brand that has built a dominant presence within the fashion and lifestyle space. Operating at significant scale with a global customer base, the company is known for its rapid product cycles, strong brand visibility, and highly data-driven approach to growth.

As the business continues to scale, they are investing heavily in financial infrastructure, planning capabilities, and data-driven decision making. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to shape the financial narrative of a multi-billion-dollar organization.

The Role

The Finance Manager will serve as a key member of the FP&A function, partnering closely with senior leadership across Merchandising, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Retail. This individual will own core elements of consolidated P&L planning, deliver executive-level insights, and play a central role in driving strategic decision-making.

This is not a traditional reporting role. It is designed for a commercially minded finance professional who can connect financial performance to business strategy, build dynamic models, and influence outcomes at the leadership level.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Own the annual operating plan and quarterly reforecast process across the consolidated P&L
  • Build and maintain a rolling forecast model incorporating key business drivers
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop bottoms-up sales and margin forecasts
  • Model gross margin scenarios, including pricing, promotions, and cost inputs

Management Reporting & Business Insights

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for executive leadership and board-level review
  • Develop KPI dashboards and channel-level profitability insights
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business narratives
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure alignment between forecasts and actuals

Strategic Finance & Decision Support

  • Evaluate strategic initiatives including new channels, expansion opportunities, and investments
  • Build ROI models and business cases for marketing, product, and operational initiatives
  • Conduct competitive and industry analysis to support decision-making
  • Identify risks and opportunities within the P&L and provide proactive recommendations

Process Improvement & Systems

  • Drive enhancements across FP&A processes, reporting tools, and planning systems
  • Support automation and development of more scalable reporting infrastructure
  • Partner with data teams to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency

Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and support junior team members
  • Help establish best practices across financial planning and analysis
  • Contribute to building a high-performing, business-facing finance function

What Success Looks Like

  • A robust, driver-based forecasting model that supports business decision-making
  • Clear, insightful reporting that influences executive strategy
  • Strong cross-functional partnerships across key business units
  • A scalable FP&A infrastructure aligned with company growth

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of progressive FP&A or related experience
  • Background in fashion, apparel, consumer products, or adjacent industries (or strong experience from investment banking or top-tier consulting)
  • Proven ownership of full P&L planning, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Advanced financial modeling skills with a strong analytical mindset
  • Ability to present and influence senior leadership

Preferred

  • Experience in eCommerce, DTC, or omni-channel environments
  • Exposure to customer metrics such as CAC, LTV, and contribution margin
  • Experience with planning tools (Anaplan, Adaptive, Hyperion, etc.) and ERP systems
  • SQL, Tableau, or similar data tools
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA

Why This Opportunity

  • High visibility role with direct exposure to executive leadership
  • Opportunity to shape financial strategy within a scaling, high-growth business
  • Broad exposure across multiple functions including marketing, merchandising, and operations
  • Strong mix of strategic finance and hands-on execution
  • Collaborative, fast-paced, and data-driven environment
