Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential preferred
  • School Psychologist Credential or valid Special Education Credential (Mild Moderate or Moderate to Severe authorization)
  • Proven track record with at least three years of successful special education experience, with a focus on behavioral and/or mental health support for students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work alongside diverse teams of educators and families
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized education plans (IEPs) and positive behavior supports

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop targeted behavior intervention plans for students across a variety of educational settings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide effective strategies and supports for students with behavioral challenges
  • Offer ongoing training, consultation, and resources to school staff and families to promote best practices in behavior management
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to ensure positive outcomes
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all regulatory and district guidelines
