Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate for a direct hire opportunity in Santa Barbara, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on warehouse professional with strong organization skills, physical stamina, and experience supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations in a retail environment.
The Warehouse Associate will play an important role in keeping warehouse operations organized, efficient, clean, and safe. This opportunity offers a team-oriented work environment, steady work, supportive day-to-day collaboration, and the chance to contribute directly to customer satisfaction through accurate handling, staging, packing, and movement of merchandise.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain warehouse areas to support efficient daily operations.
- Load, unload, move, and stage shipments, deliveries, and stock safely and accurately.
- Lift and move heavy items up to 150 lbs using proper techniques and equipment when needed.
- Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items.
- Assist with assembling, packing, and preparing items for delivery or showroom display.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following safety procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $20 to $23 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Benefits include health insurance, employee discounts, and paid time off.
- Weekend availability is required.
- The business is closed on Tuesdays.
