We are looking for an Automotive Sales Porter/Detailer to support dealership operations and deliver a positive customer experience. Reporting to the Sales Manager and Service Manager, this role will manage vehicle flow, stage and detail all vehicle types, maintain dealership grounds, and assist with additional dealership duties. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, positive attitude, and strong customer service skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Move, stage, and manage customer and inventory vehicles throughout dealership grounds.
- Clean vehicle interiors and perform exterior washing and detailing on all vehicle types.
- Support inventory operations and detail cars to dealership standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness of service stalls, parking areas, and other dealership spaces.
- Fuel vehicles and install license plates as needed.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to complete assigned duties.
- Respond to customer inquiries with a service-oriented attitude.
- Follow workplace safety practices while handling vehicles and performing lot operations.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with sales and service teams.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug and background screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience with automotive detailing, vehicle handling, or lot operations.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
