Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician III to support daily electrical maintenance operations for government-owned facilities and systems. This role requires a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems, the ability to respond to emergency call-ins, and strict adherence to safety, security, and compliance requirements.
Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship and an active security clearance are mandatory.

Active Tier 3 / NACLC / Secret security clearance

Ability to pass annual Fit for Duty physical, respirator medical clearance, and respirator fit testing

Availability for emergency call-ins as required
Key Responsibilities
-
Support daily maintenance operations for electrical systems across government facilities
-
Troubleshoot and maintain:
-
VFDs, AHUs, motors, ATS systems, UPS systems
-
Industrial and low-voltage lighting systems
-

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, control diagrams, and specifications
-
Perform electrical load calculations
-
Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment safely and effectively
-
Ensure compliance with NEC and NFPA 70E standards
-
Maintain safe working conditions in accordance with all site and federal regulations
Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical trades (5 years preferred)

Strong understanding of high- and low-voltage electrical systems
-
Experience in industrial or commercial electrical environments

Familiarity with government facilities maintenance preferred

High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred / Nice-to-Have

OSHA 10 certification

Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)

Industrial controls experience

Laboratory environment experience (e.g., fume hoods, lab benches)
