Qualifications
- High school diploma, associate’s degree, or equivalent.
- At least six years of experience in fields related to semiconductors, laser systems, or industrial capital equipment.
- Hands-on experience with electromechanical control systems, sensors, and optical assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and assembly drawings.
- Proven experience working in laboratory or manufacturing environments building and testing hardware systems.
- Experience with electronic testing tools, including multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical tools and machine shop equipment.
- Exposure to optomechanical or laser alignment, fiber lasers, and non-linear optics is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis across electrical, mechanical, optical, and control systems.
- Assemble and modify electronic and electromechanical test devices for experimental projects.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve hardware integration and performance issues.
- Document testing processes and results, including material requests and quality reports.
- Support system assembly, calibration, and testing of prototypes and production equipment.
- Assist in procurement activities and the installation of new hardware.
- Contribute to hardware improvement efforts and process optimization.
- Mentor and support new team members to ensure effective team operations.
