Key Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in California
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy
- Strong understanding of IEP documentation and goal setting
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation to cover both Chino and Wildomar campuses
- Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and facilitate therapy sessions for students
- Maintain accurate and timely records, including progress notes and IEP documentation
- Consult with teachers and parents to support students’ access to curriculum and school activities
- Recommend adaptive equipment or environmental modifications as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborative team discussions
- Provide ongoing education and support to staff regarding physical therapy strategies
