Candidates should be experienced with Behavioral Analysis and possess strong credentials and background working within special education. Your expertise will help guide a collaborative team, providing critical support through evidence-based practices and positively shaping student outcomes.

Desired qualifications and background include:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential is highly desired
  • Valid California certification: School Psychologist Credential or Special Education Credential authorizing Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Severe services
  • Minimum of three years’ direct experience in special education, with a focus on supporting students with behavioral and/or mental health needs

Responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conducting functional behavior assessments and crafting individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborating with school teams, teachers, and families to implement effective strategies that address a variety of behavioral and emotional needs
  • Providing training, consultation, and ongoing support for staff working with students on the autism spectrum, with developmental disabilities, or with other behavioral challenges
  • Maintaining diligent documentation and participating in IEP meetings to track and communicate progress
  • Ensuring adherence to all state and federal guidelines related to special education and behavior analysis practices
