We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a permanent, full-time position. Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide high-quality therapy services designed to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and overall functional independence.
\n The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional care while working collaboratively with Physical Therapists and other members of the healthcare team.
\n Responsibilities
\n Implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
\n Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, strengthening exercises, transfer training, and functional mobility interventions
\n Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
\n Assist patients in improving strength, mobility, endurance, balance, and functional independence
\n Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, fall prevention, and safety strategies
\n Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
\n Collaborate with Physical Therapists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
\n Participate in care planning and assist with discharge planning as appropriate
\n Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
\n Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting established rehabilitation goals
\n Requirements
\n Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
\n Required: Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of practice
\n Previous clinical experience preferred
\n Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
\n Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist
