Pet Supplies Escondido is looking for a skilled, dependable dog groomer who takes pride in quality work, compassionate handling, and great customer service. Join our growing business and help pets look and feel their best while building lasting relationships with their families.

Compensation and Bonuses

• Guaranteed hourly pay starting at $24 per hour.
• Total earning potential of $24–$38 per hour, including guaranteed base pay, applicable commission earnings, tips, and a performance bonus.
• Actual total earnings vary based on grooming sales, customer tips, and performance-bonus eligibility. Earnings above the hourly guarantee are not guaranteed.
• Compensation details and performance-bonus requirements will be provided before hire.

What You’ll Do

• Provide professional bathing, drying, haircuts, brushing, nail care, and other grooming services within your training and experience.
• Discuss grooming preferences and service expectations with pet parents.
• Handle pets patiently and humanely, watching for signs of stress or discomfort.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming area.
• Keep accurate grooming notes and communicate health or behavior concerns.
• Build repeat business through quality work, friendly communication, and rebooking.
• Work toward a $500 daily grooming sales goal while prioritizing pet safety, appropriate appointment times, and grooming quality.

What We’re Looking For

• Professional dog-grooming experience and the ability to complete grooms independently.
• Experience with different breeds, coat types, sizes, and temperaments.
• A commitment to safe handling and excellent grooming quality.
• Dependability, strong communication skills, and a team-minded attitude.
• A grooming portfolio or photos of recent work.
