Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential from the state or eligibility to obtain one
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Strong skills in counseling, consultation, and behavioral intervention
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Prior experience in K-12 settings strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and academic assessments, interpret data, and communicate findings to staff and families
- Participate in eligibility, IEP meetings, and student support teams
- Provide direct counseling and consultation services to students, families, and staff
- Develop evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to student needs
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomes
- Support crisis intervention and behavioral management plans when necessary
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal regulations
