We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to provide professional psychological services in California City, California. This opportunity is designed for an experienced doctoral-level psychologist who can provide clinical assessment, intervention, and behavioral health services while working effectively within a structured multidisciplinary environment.
The Licensed Psychologist will apply advanced clinical judgment and psychological expertise to support individuals with a range of behavioral and mental health needs. This position requires an unrestricted California psychology license, established clinical experience, and the ability to deliver professional, patient-centered psychological services within a potentially complex care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university
- Current, unrestricted license to practice Psychology in the State of California
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a comparable position
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Current valid driver's license
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and professional judgment skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous professional experience within a correctional or detention center environment
- Experience providing psychological services to complex or diverse patient populations
- Ability to function effectively within a structured, multidisciplinary clinical setting
- Strong crisis-management and behavioral assessment capabilities
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a California-licensed doctoral-level Psychologist with at least two years of clinical experience and a demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating with other healthcare professionals. They should possess strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills and be comfortable working with individuals who may present complex behavioral or psychological needs.
Candidates with previous correctional or detention center experience will be particularly well aligned with this opportunity, as familiarity with the unique clinical and operational demands of these environments can allow for a more seamless transition into the position.
Compensation
$150,000 – $195,000 annually
Compensation within the listed range will be determined based on the candidate's clinical experience, specialized psychological expertise, relevant correctional or detention experience, qualifications, and overall alignment with the position.
