TransForce is seeking an experienced CDL A Yard Hostler to support warehouse operations in Woodland, CA. This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, steady hours, and the opportunity to work with a team-focused operation.

Position Details\n

• Pay: $26.00 per hour

• Schedule: Monday – Friday

\n

• Start Time: 3:30 AM

\n

• Hours: Approximately 8 hours per day (40 hours per week)

\n

• Location: Woodland, CA

Equipment\n

\n
• Ottawa Yard Tractor

\n

• Automatic Transmission

\n

Job Responsibilities\n

\n
• Safely operate an Ottawa yard tractor to move trailers throughout the yard.

\n

• Spot and reposition trailers to support warehouse loading and unloading operations.

\n

• Deliver trailers and product between designated yard locations as directed.

\n

• Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.

\n

• Maintain safe operating practices while working in a fast-paced yard environment.

\n

• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and dispatch to ensure efficient trailer movement.

\n

Freight\n

\n
• No-touch freight

\n

• No freight handling required. Position consists of yard movements only.

\n

Minimum Qualifications\n

\n
• Valid CDL A License

\n

• Minimum of 9months of recent, verifiable CDL A driving experience

\n

• Yard hostler and/or trailer spotting experience preferred

\n

• Ability to safely maneuver trailers in tight spaces

\n

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record

\n

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

\n
