Are you a Mechanical Project Manager who knows how to run commercial HVAC and plumbing jobs from buyout to closeout? WRS Mechanical is hiring a Mechanical Project Manager in Long Beach, CA to lead commercial mechanical construction projects for a mechanical subcontractor.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial mechanical projects (HVAC, plumbing, process piping, sheet metal) from award through closeout
- Lead buyout, procurement and subcontractor/vendor management
- Build and maintain the schedule of values, pay applications and project budgets
- Process submittals, RFIs and change orders; track cost and margin
- Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, owners and field superintendents
- Review drawings and MEP coordination in Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Revit MEP
- Run project meetings and report on schedule, cost and risk
- Promote a safety-first jobsite culture
Requirements
- 3+ years managing commercial mechanical, HVAC or plumbing construction projects
- Experience at a mechanical subcontractor or MEP contractor strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project or similar
- Strong grasp of submittals, RFIs, change orders, buyout and schedule of values
- OSHA 30 preferred; PMP a plus
- Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year (USD)
