Job Title: CNC Programmer
Location: Signal Hill, Ca (Onsite)
Job Type: Full Time - 7:30am-4pm (M-F) / Temp-to-hire
Department: Manufacturing / Engineering

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Programmer with experience in CATIA or Mastercam to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for 5-axis machines, ensuring efficient and precise machining of complex components. Familiarity with Haas machines and a strong understanding of machining processes and best practices are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and modify CNC Mill programs using CATIA/or Mastercam for 5-axis milling machines.
  • Set up, prove out, and troubleshoot CNC programs on Haas and other machines as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering, machinists, and quality teams to ensure accurate and efficient part production.
  • Optimize tooling paths and cutting strategies to improve cycle time and part quality.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
  • Maintain documentation for all programs and setups.
  • Provide support for machine operators during setup and production runs.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of CNC programming experience with a focus on 5-axis machining.
  • Proficient in CATIA OR MasterCam for CAM programming.
  • Hands-on experience with Haas machines and controllers.
  • Strong understanding of G-code, tool selection, and machining strategies.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
