Greet guests, efficiently seat guests at their tables, communicate with other floor staff and kitchen to ensure ultimate guest satisfaction.
Maintain a clean, welcoming environment for guests and employees.
Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, setting a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, ensuring accurate wait times.
- Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and highlighting specials.
- Assist servers with table settings and pre-bussing when necessary and approved.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance area, and bathrooms.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and answer guest inquiries with a helpful attitude.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a host or similar guest-facing role is a plus.
- Excellent communication.
- A warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy periods.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
