The Computer Repair Technician I is responsible for basic to intermediate computer repair tasks, ensuring the optimal functionality of computer systems.
Responsibilities
- Replace laptop feet cushions, batteries, and keyboard keys.
- Conduct tests on computer hardware and ports.
- Audit retail production line items to prepare them for resale.
- Erase data from hard drives.
Essential Skills
- Familiarity with Apple products and Apple OS.
- Familiarity with Windows-based products.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Strong work ethic.
- Must be a team player.
- Ability to work in a production environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must have experience with Apple or PC products, with an emphasis on repair experience.
- Skills in computer repair, troubleshooting, electronics, hardware/software, and diagnostics.
- Experience in functional testing and use of inspection equipment.
Work Environment
The role is based in a technician lab environment, requiring hands-on work with computer components and repair tasks. The position involves working in a production setting, which may include physical activities such as handling and assembling hardware. Dress code and other specific conditions are standard for a lab environment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
