Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Synthetic Turf Installation Crew Lead role based in Los Angeles, CA. The Crew Lead oversees daily installation activities, including site preparation, base construction, turf layout, cutting, seaming, infill application, and final detailing. Responsibilities include organizing and directing crew members, assigning tasks, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications and quality standards. The role involves reading and interpreting plans, coordinating materials and equipment, communicating with project managers or clients on schedules and progress, and troubleshooting issues on-site. The Crew Lead is also expected to enforce safety protocols, maintain a clean work environment, document project status, and support training and development of crew members.

- Hands-on skills in synthetic turf or landscape installation, including site prep, base work, turf cutting, seaming, and infill application.
- Experience leading field crews, delegating tasks, monitoring productivity, and maintaining consistent quality standards.
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices, ability to enforce safety procedures, and familiarity with basic tools and equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, measurements, and specifications, with solid basic math and spatial reasoning skills.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, supervisors, and clients, and for documenting project progress.
- Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Previous experience in synthetic turf, landscaping, sports field construction, or related trades preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to travel to job sites in the Los Angeles area as needed.
