Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver patient care for ICU patients in accordance with unit standards and age-appropriate needs.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and adjust care plans as directed by the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and therapies, manage ICU equipment, and document all care and interventions accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the care team; communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Maintain patient safety, advocate for patient-centered care, and uphold professional standards and unit protocols.
Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- ICU nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and 36 hours per week
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 10/26/2026
- Strong communication skills and ability to function well within a multidisciplinary team
