Position Overview
This company is a bakery manufacturer and distributor with over 38 branches across the U.S. and Canada. We are seeking dependable General Labor workers for a temporary, approximately one-month project at our bakery manufacturing facility in Pico Rivera.
This position involves physically demanding warehouse and production support duties. The ideal candidate should have previous general warehouse experience and be comfortable performing heavy labor throughout the entire shift.
General Labor Duties
- Move and handle pails and other materials throughout the facility.
- Palletize finished bakery products coming from production conveyors.
- Stack, organize, and prepare finished goods for shipment.
- Remove trash and maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Perform warehouse and production-area cleaning tasks.
- Assist with general material handling and other labor-intensive duties as assigned.
- Follow all company safety procedures and workplace guidelines.
Requirements
- Previous general warehouse experience required.
- Must be able to perform heavy, labor-intensive work for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50–60 lbs. throughout the shift.
- Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive physical tasks.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
- Steel-toe work shoes are required.
Project Duration
This is a temporary project expected to last approximately 1 month, possible temp-hire but must be able to pass background and drug test.
