Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support pharmacy operations at a leading healthcare facility in Oakland, CA, as a Pharmacy Technician on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work full-time hours with multiple shift start times to accommodate various schedules.
Responsibilities include accurately preparing and dispensing medications, assisting with IV preparation, managing inventory, and collaborating effectively with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth daily operations. The position requires attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety and medication accuracy.
Shift Options:
- Start times at 6:00 am, 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, or 3:00 pm
- 8.5-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in hospital or clinical settings
- Familiarity with IV medication preparation is highly preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures; some training is available
