At Gimaguas, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail store in Los Angeles.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast-growing international fashion brand and help us bring the Gimaguas universe to a new market. As the leader of our LA store and one of the first members of the team, you will play a key role in building the store from the ground up, leading the team, driving commercial performance, and creating memorable client experiences.

What You'll Do

• Lead, motivate, and develop the store team, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing environment.

\n

• Take ownership of store sales performance, ensuring commercial targets and KPIs are achieved.

\n

• Deliver an exceptional and personalized client experience, building genuine relationships with customers.

\n

• Act as a true ambassador of the Gimaguas brand, communicating our values, aesthetic, and story.

\n

• Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient store management.

\n

• Manage team scheduling, shift planning, and daily staffing needs, ensuring adequate store coverage.

\n

• Recruit, onboard, train, and support the development of store team members in collaboration with the People team.

\n

• Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback, ensuring alignment with company expectations and standards.

\n

• Lead by example on the sales floor, providing styling advice and supporting the team in delivering an exceptional client experience.

\n

• Monitor sales, conversion, average transaction value, and other relevant KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement.

\n

• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and applicable labor regulations.

\n

• Process transactions accurately through the POS system.

\n

• Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash management, and daily store administration.

\n

• Replenish, organize, and maintain stockroom standards.

\n

• Ensure visual merchandising and product presentation meet brand standards.

\n

• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and inspiring store environment.

\n

• Manage inventory levels, stock movements, and replenishment, ensuring product availability and accuracy.

\n

• Coordinate with the HQ team across Operations, People, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment and smooth communication.

\n

• Support the opening and ongoing development of the Los Angeles store, contributing to the establishment of local processes and ways of working.

Who You Are

\n

\n
• Previous experience in a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager role, preferably within fashion, contemporary, or luxury brands.

\n

• Proven experience leading and developing retail teams, with a strong understanding of store operations and commercial performance.

\n

• Passionate about fashion, styling, and creating outstanding client experiences.

\n

• Strong sales mindset with a proactive and results-oriented attitude.

\n

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

\n

• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

\n

• Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).

\n

• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules.

\n

• Reliable, energetic, and eager to contribute to a growing team.

\n

• Comfortable working in a new market and taking initiative in building and developing a store team.

\n

• Authorized to work in the United States.

\n
