Part-Time Team Member
Tara’s Organic Ice Cream
Tara’s Organic Ice Cream is looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking part-time team member to join our shop!
- Must be available Wednesday 12:30 PM–5:00 PM or 5 -9:30pm, and some Monday 5 - 9:30pm
We’re looking for someone who can work 2–3 shifts per week. This is a very flexible position and we’re happy to work around college and school schedules.
Position Details
- $19.61/hour + shared tips
- Tips are shared among front-of-house staff
- 2–3 shifts per week
- Approximately 4.5 hours per shift
- Opening: 12:30 PM–5:00 PM
- Closing: 5:00 PM–9:30 PM
- Must be available Wednesday 12:30 PM–5:00 PM or 5 -9:30pm, and some Monday 5 - 9:30pm and weekends.
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate school and other commitments
Responsibilities
- Scoop and serve our delicious organic ice cream
- Make fresh waffle cones
- Prepare cookie dough and waffle batter
- Make ice cream cookie sandwiches
- Package and prepare products
- Restock supplies
- Keep the shop clean and organized
- Sweep, mop, and clean surfaces and equipment
- Provide friendly and welcoming customer service
- Work independently and stay productive during slower periods
Ideal Candidate
- 18+ years old
- Must be available Wednesday afternoons/opening shift
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly, positive, and customer-service oriented
- Comfortable working independently
- Organized and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a food-service environment
- Willing to help with both customer service and cleaning
- Has a Food Handler Card
- Previous ice cream shop or food-service experience is a plus
- College students are especially welcome!
