Accepting Application for Full-Time Employment as Dishwasher
Urth Caffe is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Dishwasher to join our team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen environment.
- Availability: AM and PM shifts available. Weekend schedule a must!
- Special Note: We are also hiring for an AM Line Cook position!
Key Responsibilities
- Dishwashing: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using commercial dishwashers.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by ensuring all items are washed and stored properly.
- Area Care: Keep the dishwashing area clean, safe, and free of clutter.
- Food Prep: Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
- Waste Management: Dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately.
- Front-of-House Support: Clean, sanitize, and reset tables promptly; assist servers with food delivery.
Experience & Qualifications
- Background: Prior experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Kitchen Knowledge: Familiarity with food handling, basic kitchen operations, and safety guidelines.
- Pace: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Compliance: Understand and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and unassisted.
- Mobility: Ability to move safely over uneven terrain, in confined spaces, and safely climb ladders.
- Stamina: Ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting, stooping, balancing, reaching, and pushing.
- Environment: Ability to work in cold temperatures and respond quickly to sounds.
- PPE: Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly for most of the day.
