Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting daily financial operations, ensuring accurate billing, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile customer payments and accounts to ensure accuracy
- Monitor accounts for discrepancies and report issues to management
- Follow up on past-due accounts and assist with collections
- Communicate with customers to resolve billing and payment issues
- Generate invoices, issue credit memos, and update account records
- Send payment reminders and make collection calls as needed
- Assist in improving accounts receivable processes
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or related coursework (including basic accounting principles) preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or collections
- Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
