We are seeking a Welding Assistant to become an integral part of our team!
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to assist Lead Welders by prepping materials & post welding clean up
- Must be able to perform grinding & metal cutting tasks, drills, rivet gun, basic hand tools
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications. **Must be able to read a tape measure** and read blueprints
- Willing to learn Basic flat, horizontal, and vertical, down position MIG welding
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Must be able to pass a drug test, have a current CA drivers license, & a clean driving record and pass a background check.
