Service Manager – Compressed Air Systems
Location: Orange County, CA
Service Manager / Field Service Manager / Compressor Service Manager required to join an established, independent compressed air equipment distributor and service specialist supporting industrial customers throughout Orange County, Los Angeles County, and wider Southern California.
The business specialises in industrial compressed air equipment, providing compressor sales, servicing, maintenance, repairs, and technical support. Working with leading manufacturers including Atlas Copco, Powerex, and nano, the company supports a wide range of industrial compressed air applications, including rotary screw and reciprocating compressors, air treatment equipment, filtration, and associated compressed air systems.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily service operations, managing three Service Technicians and one Service Coordinator.
- Coordinate service schedules, technician workloads, maintenance jobs, and equipment repairs.
- Manage parts availability, inventory, warehouse operations, and service job preparation.
- Oversee service activities involving industrial compressors, dryers, filtration, and associated compressed air equipment.
- Monitor departmental performance, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance, leadership, and support to ensure high-quality customer service.
Service Manager / Field Service Manager / Compressor Service Manager
Requirements:
- Experience within industrial compressed air, compressors, or a similar mechanical service environment.
- Previous experience as a Service Manager, Service Supervisor, Lead Technician, or Compressor Service Technician.
- Knowledge of rotary screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, dryers, and associated equipment would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational, scheduling, people management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced technicians looking to progress into management are encouraged to apply; previous management experience is not essential.
- Based in Orange County or within a practical commuting distance of the company's Southern California operation.
- Support service technicians, monitor work quality, and handle driving, vehicle checks, and cash transactions as needed.
