Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite, Monday–Friday

Duration: 24-month contract with possible extensions

Pay Rate: $46.43/hour

Position Summary
\n
We are seeking an Engineering Change Services Specialist to support engineering documentation, configuration management, and change control activities in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.
\n
This role will be responsible for managing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) from initiation through closure, ensuring engineering documentation, drawings, part numbers, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) are accurate, complete, and properly released.
\n
The ideal candidate will have hands-on CAD experience, preferably Siemens NX, along with experience using PLM systems such as Teamcenter and a strong understanding of engineering change and configuration management processes.

Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Generate, process, track, and manage Engineering Change Orders through closure.
- Perform documentation research for parts and assemblies to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with change control procedures and drafting standards.
- Review and process part numbers, BOMs, engineering changes, drawings, and related documentation.
- Coordinate change requests through appropriate review and approval workflows.
- Support engineering and New Product Introduction teams with change control activities.
- Work closely with Engineers, Designers, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to resolve change-related issues.
- Update engineering drawings and documentation based on approved model or design changes.
- Support BOM updates and ensure engineering changes align with manufacturing and configuration requirements.
- Track documentation from initiation through final approval and release.
- Monitor document review progress and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain trackers, reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics.
- Serve as a point of contact for engineering change control questions and escalations.
- Facilitate design review and change-related meetings.
- Capture key decisions, action items, and detailed meeting minutes.
- Support documentation revision and release activities in alignment with applicable quality and ISO standards.
- Participate in process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering documentation and change management.

Required Qualifications
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
- Hands-on experience creating, reviewing, or updating engineering drawings using Siemens NX CAD.
- Experience with engineering change management and configuration management processes.
- Experience managing ECRs, ECOs, Change Orders, BOMs, part numbers, or engineering documentation.
- Experience using Teamcenter PLM or a similar Product Lifecycle Management system.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, documentation, revision control, and release processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and document decisions, action items, and meeting minutes.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
