Machine Maintenance Technician

Job DescriptionDescription:

Responsible for repair and preventative maintenance on CNC machines; identifying potential issues that could interrupt machine uptime, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic components of other production equipment used within the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and components of various types of machine tools – CNC and conventional machines.

· Install parts and troubleshoot motors and relays.

· Record completion of work orders by documenting in detail the steps taken, parts installed, and repairs performed on all equipment.

· Performed and execute other tasks as assigned.

· Ability to follow all maintenance safety practices. Risk Analysis prior to starting the maintenance tasks and adhere to safety programs.

Requirements:

· One year experience in maintenance in a factory or machine shop

· Mechanical aptitude and able to lean quickly (will train)

· Good knowledge of CNC machines and electrical control systems helpful
