We’re partnering with an engineering and construction firm to find a Senior Civil Engineer (12 + years experience) for its San Diego, CA office. This full-time opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule (subject to change) and supports a culture focused on design excellence.

Senior Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

- Lead civil projects from entitlement and initial design through construction documentation and administration.
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects while managing budgets and schedules.
- Direct design team efforts and coordinate with professionals across multiple disciplines.
- Maintain client relationships and support successful project delivery.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a technically driven design environment.

Senior Civil Engineer Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer registration is required; California registration is preferred.
- At least 12 years of professional land development experience across applicable commercial, residential, institutional, healthcare, municipal, or Federal projects.
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, technical studies, mapping, civil construction documents, earthwork calculations, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and client relationship skills; specification preparation and San Diego County stormwater experience are preferred.
