Position Overview
A global beauty and personal care brand seeks a Retail Sales Education Specialist for a six-month field-based contract in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role drives sell-through at key retail accounts through product education and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-store product education and training sessions for retail beauty staff
- Build and maintain productive relationships with store managers and beauty advisors
- Monitor product placement, merchandising standards, and inventory at assigned accounts
- Drive sell-through by educating consumers on product benefits and usage
- Execute brand events, launches, and demonstrations at retail locations
- Submit timely field activity reports and competitive insights to the brand team
Requirements
- 2+ years of retail sales, beauty education, or brand ambassador experience
- Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license for field travel
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends
- Based in or near the San Francisco Bay Area
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience representing a national or global beauty brand
- Established relationships with Ulta, Sephora, or department store beauty counters
- Cosmetology license or esthetics background
