Job Description:
As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will play a crucial role in our patient care team. Your primary responsibilities will include performing blood draws, processing samples, and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of our diagnostic services.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and store blood samples from patients
- Distribute samples to designated departments
- Prepare and label blood samples for processing and analysis.
- Monitor storage and inventory of supplies
- Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures with precision and care.
- Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures
- Assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (e.g., ASCP, NPA, or equivalent)
- 1 year of paid experience as a Phlebotomy Technician
- BLS - American Heart Association
Job Details:
- Pay Rate - $30/hr
- Shift - Morning - 8am-5pm
- Long term contract assignment
- Weekly direct deposit
