Job SummaryWe are an independent auto repair shop looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing service center. We are looking for someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work, and has a strong work ethic. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible to work independently while diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using SMS computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems. Additionally, a willingness to obtain additional certifications is important.
Responsibilities
- Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes
- Preform general mechanical repairs and routine vehicle maintenance including alignments, oil changes, and brake repairs
- Diagnose, repair, and replace water pumps, timing belts, head gaskets, and engine cooling systems
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification
- Strong customer service and communications skills
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician
