Qualifications:
- Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in California
- Experience working within educational settings or school systems
- Knowledge of K-12 IEP processes and regulations
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver school-based OT services, focusing on life skills, sensory processing, fine/gross motor development, and functional academics
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, specialists, and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation following school and legal guidelines
- Offer guidance, resources, and support to staff and caregivers for generalization of skills across settings
