Fun job working with I/DD - Direct Support Professional (Temecula)
Job Description
Job Description
Join a growing nonprofit dedicated to community inclusion for adults with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD).
This is not a desk job. Our teams are out in the community: visiting local businesses, hiking trails, ranches, museums, sporting events, and other places where our clients can learn, participate, and belong.
Since May 2022, Achieve Ability has grown to more than 30 employees, and we're looking for great people who want to grow with us.
Why Join Us?
- Meaningful work - make a real difference in someone's life.
- No experience required - we'll train the right person.
- Opportunity to grow - we promote and develop leaders from within.
- Help shape the culture - bring ideas, energy, and initiative.
- We have the best clients. Seriously.
What We're Looking For
More than experience, we care about who you are and how you show up.
- Reliable: You have the discipline to show up every day, on time and ready to work.
- Good judgment: You have common sense, and a sense of humor.
- Kind: You treat clients and coworkers with empathy, patience, and respect.
- Engaged: You don't sit on the sidelines. You participate, communicate, and get involved.
- Flexible: You're willing to roll up your sleeves and do what needs to be done.
- Creative: Being outgoing, crafty, adventurous, or full of ideas is a big plus.
