What We're Looking For:
- Valid and active California Moderate/Severe (mod/sev) Education Specialist Credential (required)
- Experience or strong interest in serving students with extensive support needs (ESN)
- Ability to collaborate with general education staff, support staff, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple locations and grade levels
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement individualized educational programs for students with moderate to severe disabilities
- Work hands-on with K-12 students, adapting instruction and curriculum to meet unique learning needs
- Collaborate with IEP teams, including therapists, paraprofessionals, and guardians, to monitor progress and set attainable goals
- Maintain and update documentation in compliance with district, county, and state guidelines
- Cultivate a positive and safe classroom environment that promotes independence and academic progress
