Journeyman Electrician (Residential Focus) – Orange County, CA

Based in Huntington Beach – Serving All of Orange County
$30-$36/hr (depending on experience)
At Blanusa Electric, we specialize in high-end residential electrical work across Orange County — from panel upgrades and full home rewires to lighting upgrades and EV charger installations. We’re looking for a Journeyman Electrician who takes pride in residential craftsmanship, communicates well with homeowners, and wants to grow with a company that values quality over quantity.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Full-scope residential electrical work — service calls, remodels, new construction
- Panel upgrades, subpanels, service changes
- Residential EV charger installations (Tesla, Wallbox, etc.)
- Lighting upgrades – including recessed, smart, LED conversions, and landscape lighting
- Rough & finish work – roping, device install, trim, fixture installs
- Job sites are located throughout Orange County — from Newport Beach to Yorba Linda
- Client-facing work in high-end homes — clean, courteous, and professional presence required
- Occasional light commercial jobs (small businesses, coffee shops, gyms, etc.)
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of residential electrical experience
- Trade school, apprenticeship program, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of NEC & Title 24
- Clean, detail-oriented workmanship and job site cleanliness
- Reliable, communicative, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to commute anywhere in Orange County
- Comfortable working directly with homeowners, GCs, and inspectors
