Provide expert pharmaceutical care in a dynamic hospital setting serving a 250-bed facility. This travel opportunity offers a chance to apply your skills in a collaborative environment, working closely with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Location: Redding, CA
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Variable days and afternoon shifts
Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify medication orders
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure quality and compliance
- Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy
- Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
- Utilize hospital IT systems including Cerner and Omnicell for efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- Active California Pharmacist license
- Motivated to travel and practice in a northern California location
- Positive attitude with strong communication skills
- Experience or interest in pharmacokinetics
- Completion of a PGY1 residency is highly desirable
