Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic II
Shift:
- 1st Shift (5:30 AM - 2:00 PM)
- 2nd Shift (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM)
Location: City of Industry, CA
Pay Range: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
About This Role
We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic II to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain precision machine tools and equipment while supporting our production operations. This position offers hands-on work with cutting-edge manufacturing equipment and opportunities to develop your technical skills in a dynamic environment.
Essential Duties:
- Diagnose, disassemble, rebuild, and align precision machine tools and equipment
- Perform routine to complex machinery repairs and preventive maintenance
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and industrial machinery components
- Work with blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot equipment
- Perform welding, machining, and fabrication tasks as needed
- Operate forklifts to move equipment and materials
- Maintain clean and safe work areas following 5S procedures
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience or construction trades
- Intermediate knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturer specifications
- Experience with electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial controls
- Knowledge of Lock-out/Tag-out safety procedures
- U.S. person status required under ITAR regulations
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds frequently
