Compensation: $50,000–$100,000 base salary, plus performance-based commission/bonus.

Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

UpMarket is seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial, and relationship-driven Financial Sales / Private Markets Associate to join our growing sales team.
\n
\n
In this role, you will build relationships with high-net-worth and accredited investors, introduce private-market and alternative-investment opportunities, and support clients throughout the investment process.
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n
• Develop and maintain relationships with HNW/UHNW and accredited investors
\n
• Conduct investor outreach through calls, emails, referrals, networking, webinars, and events
\n
• Schedule and lead investor meetings and product presentations
\n
• Clearly communicate investment strategies, structures, fees, liquidity terms, potential opportunities, and key risks
\n
• Manage the sales pipeline from initial outreach through subscription and funding
\n
• Coordinate with Sales, Investments, Operations, and Compliance teams
\n
• Maintain accurate investor activity and follow-up records in the CRM
\n
• Build referral relationships and identify new investor-acquisition channels
\n
• Attend conferences, webinars, investor events, and other business-development activities
\n
• Conduct all sales activities in accordance with applicable firm policies and regulatory requirements
\n
\n
Qualifications:
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred
\n
• 1–5+ years of relevant experience in financial sales, wealth management, private banking, investment management, alternative investments, or capital raising preferred
\n
• Experience working with HNW/UHNW or accredited investors is highly desirable
\n
• Strong communication, presentation, prospecting, and relationship-management skills
\n
• Interest in private equity, venture capital, pre-IPO companies, private credit, hedge funds, and alternative investments
\n
• Ability to understand complex investment products and explain them clearly
\n
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment
\n
• Strong professional judgment and attention to compliance requirements
\n
\n
Licensing:
\n
FINRA securities licenses are preferred where applicable. Candidates holding relevant registrations, including Series 7 and Series 63 or 66, are encouraged to apply. Licensing requirements will depend on the position’s responsibilities and applicable regulatory requirements.
