Job Title: Senior Research Associate (Molecular) Location: San Carlos, CA Work Model: Onsite Hours: M-F normal business hours Compensation: $40.00 - $45.00/hr Type: 6-month contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent Responsibilities
- Support the analytical and functional analysis of antibody therapeutics pipeline through various experimental techniques
- Perform assays including SEC–HPLC, SEC–MALS, CEX–HPLC, SDS–PAGE, CE–SDS, MSD, ELISA, and cell-based functional assays
- Compile, analyze, and review test data for study reports and develop PowerPoint presentations
- Develop and review standard operating protocols and other technical documents
- Coordinate activities with functional groups and project teams
- Present experimental data and discuss findings with project team members
- Mentor and train technical staff in relevant assay techniques
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 2+ years with a master’s degree
- Proficiency in protein analysis techniques such as SEC–HPLC, SEC–MALS, CEX–HPLC, SDS–PAGE, CE–SDS, MSD, and ELISA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to design and execute experiments with minimal supervision
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds
