Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Tiny Toes Daycare LLC is looking for a passionate and experienced Preschool Director to lead our growing early childhood education program in Redding, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to shape young minds, inspire a dedicated team, and create a nurturing environment where children thrive every day.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the preschool facility, ensuring a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise teaching staff and support personnel
- Develop and implement age-appropriate early childhood curricula aligned with developmental best practices
- Maintain licensing requirements and ensure compliance with state and local childcare regulations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families through open communication and family engagement initiatives
- Manage program budgets, enrollment, and administrative functions
- Conduct staff evaluations, mentorship, and ongoing professional development
- Monitor child progress and ensure individualized support for all learners
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a preschool or childcare leadership role
- Knowledge of California Title 22 childcare licensing regulations
- Current or ability to obtain a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Warm, patient, and child-centered approach to education and management
