Security Officer - Luxury Retail FlagshipURGENTLY HIRINGPart time - Thurs-Sun, 10:30 AM-7:15 PM | $25/hr Starting - $26.50/hr after 90 daysSan Francisco, CA 94103 | CA Guard Card requiredAbout This RoleWe're looking for a security officer who brings both professionalism and presence to one of San Francisco's premier luxury retail flagships. This isn't a static post - you'll be the first face guests encounter and the calm authority in the room when things get busy. Crowd control is a core part of this role, and the ability to manage high-traffic situations confidently and calmly is a must.You'll work alongside a close-knit team in an upscale, client-facing environment where your judgment and presence matter just as much as your credentials. We're looking for candidates with at least 3 years of retail security experience. If you also have a background in law enforcement, military, corrections, or hospitality security - and you take pride in doing the job right - we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoBe a visible, welcoming presence at the entrance and throughout the floor - greeting guests while staying alert to what's happening around youManage guest flow during regular hours, peak periods, and product launches or special eventsIdentify and de-escalate disruptive behavior with calm, direct communicationHandle access control, log deliveries, and track high-value merchandise accuratelyPartner with store leadership on incident reporting and day-to-day operational needsRepresent the store's standard of professionalism in every interaction - appearance and conduct includedWhat We're Looking ForValid California Guard Card (BSIS-issued) - required before your first dayBackground in law enforcement, military, corrections, security, or door/crowd control - strongly preferredExperience in high-volume public environments: retail, hospitality, events, or similarSharp situational awareness and sound judgment under pressureStrong communication skills and the confidence to handle confrontation professionallyReliable transportation and a consistent track record of showing up on time
