Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description
Job Description We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of a 360-unit property. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise and proven supervisory experience in property maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of work orders, preventive maintenance, and unit turns.
- Perform property inspections and address any safety or maintenance issues.
- Coordinate with property management to ensure units are ready for move-in and maintained to high standards.
- Oversee vendor relationships, scheduling, and quality control of contracted services.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance management for maintenance staff.
- Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of property maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- EPA 608 certification
- HVAC certification
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) – Preferred
- Must be able to work on-call as needed.
