-Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
-Keep line stocked and have adaquate prep skills
-Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, stoves, ovens, and food prep tools
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines
-Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication during busy service times
-Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques and following safety protocols at all times
-Support meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed
Experience
-Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required
-Strong knowledge of culinary techniques including slicing, knife skills, and recipe adherence
-Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus
-Proven ability to follow safety standards in production and maintain high levels of food safety management
-Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
-Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house
