Job Description

The Clinical Wellness Manager supports the expansion and management of mental health and wellness services for a reentry program based in Oakland. This LCSW serves as a liaison to agency leadership, providing thought partnership on organization-wide trauma-informed practices, crisis response protocols, and staff training. This role blends direct clinical service with program development, supervision, and culture-building, playing an integral role in reinforcing a supportive and trauma-informed organizational structure. This person will assist in creating this program and will recruit and supervise 2 - 3 ASW's.

The role is a 40 hours per week, hybrid position allowing for remote work but requiring regular presence in our Oakland office. Hours of employment are flexible to accommodate the staff person’s schedule, as well as the schedule of our fellows; some evening work will be expected, but the general schedule will be 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday. This role will require occasional travel to local partner sites and facilities in support of participant services in both the Bay Area and Southern California.

Qualifications:

● CA LCSW

● 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience and completion of the California BBS-required clinical supervision training

● 5 years experience providing trauma-informed individual and/or group therapy, ideally with justice-impacted populations

● Experience providing (or ready to provide) supervision
