Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from ASHA
- Active California SLP license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience providing speech and language services in school settings preferred
- Comfortable working with students across K-12, including a range of communication needs
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive and evidence-based practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for K-12 students
- Participate in IEP meetings, developing individualized treatment plans and goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with state and federal requirements
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services across classrooms and grade levels
- Engage in ongoing professional development as needed by the school or district
